Hair Care Review: Aquage Transforming Paste

Hair Care Review: Aquage Transforming Paste

It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another hair care review from Ask the Pro Stylist. This week’s favorite beauty product comes from Aquage, and it’s a versatile hairstyling tool that will create fabulous and trendy looks.

TGIF beauty lovers, nail fans and hair aficionados, and welcome to another edition of Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week. This Friday’s hair care review came in a bag of free samples from Aquage, and I wasn’t sure which to try first. So, I flat ironed my hair and grabbed the tube of Aquage Transforming Paste.

I added just a touch to have my ends flip up a little on the side, and not only did my hair stay for the duration in the intended style, but it was also shiny, not greasy, and the next day didn’t feel dirty or weighed down.

The powerful texturizing product combines the flexibility of a wax with the hold of a hairspray, and its non-greasy, tacky formula lets you direct hair with fingers to create lasting texture with a satin finish.

Use on dry hair and after you have after achieved the desired base for the style, Aquage Transforming Paste creates separation and random texture for short hair styles, long, layered, straight styles or it may be used on wet hair for short, edgy looks.

The Transforming Paste is a powerful product, so only apply in pea-sized increments and re-apply as needed. Be sure the styling tool is thoroughly emulsified in the palms and between fingers, and then run your hands through the hair. Re-apply until the desired level of texture has been achieved

For maximum randomness, separation and definition, flip the head upside down and tousle dry with the blow dryer set on high heat and high airflow to encourage strands to form and create maximum texture. On wet hair, allow hair to dry naturally or tousle dry with fingers and a blow dryer to create maximum separation and randomness.

My hair care review makes the Aquage Transforming Paste a must-have salon tool for stylists and a complimentary at-home product to recreate the look your pro provided.

Aquage Transforming Paste, this Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week, is sold only in fine salons. Tune in next week for another hair care review or beauty product breakdown from Ask the Pro Stylist.
