Fragrance Review: CLEAN AIR Eau de Parfum is Friday’s Favorite

This Friday’s fragrance review also makes a great Valentine’s Day gift. The CLEAN scent lingers, yet isn’t overpowering, and is absolutely my favorite beauty product of the week.

TGIF beauties and welcome to Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week. Writing a fragrance review is tricky. What smells good on one person could reek like absolute ass on another. Perfume is a very subjective topic. But, this is why I love this week’s Friday fave, because the clean scent is versatile.

This Friday’s fragrance review first appeared in my Spa column for Examiner.com It covered both new fragrances from the CLEAN brand with the “simple, nostalgic and conscious” promise CLEAN AIR Eau de Parfum for her and CLEAN For Men CLASSIC, both “capturing nostalgia in every bottle.” However, for sake of clarity, today features the CLEAN AIR scent only.

Fragrance Review:

Fragrance Review: CLEAN AIR Eau de Parfum for her and CLEAN For Men CLASSIC.

CLEAN AIR invokes a feeling of “blissfulness” with top notes of Modern Air Accord, Bergamot Blossoms, and Lush Green Accord over Sparkling Freesia, Powdered Aldehydes,
Dewy Peony, Enveloping Musk, Cashmere Woods and White
Amber. The scent is not overpowering, and for lack of a better word is simply clean, like fresh cotton or newly done laundry you bury your face in. To make the perfume uniquely your own, the brand suggests to layer CLEAN AIR with any of its fragrances for a “floral experience.”

The CLEAN AIR scent is truly nostalgic, for me anyway. It reminded me of an old favorite, Lauren by Ralph Lauren, especially when layered with CLEAN COOL COTTON.

The fresh new fragrances are currently available on the CLEAN site, and hit store shelves in Sephora in March of 2015. There are shipping options available, so hurry to purchase your bottle to receive in time for Valentine’s Day.

Tune in next Friday for another favorite beauty product of the week similar to this fragrance review of CLEAN AIR. Until then, happy styling!
