Have frizz control and add shine for gorgeous hair with this Friday’s favorite beauty product of the week. The hair care from La-Brasiliana has its pros and cons, but in the end, the result is silky smooth hair with mega frizz control for the summer.
TGIF hotties, and welcome to another installment of Ask the Pro Stylist where I provide an honest beauty review that will either be Friday’s favorite or fail. As a beauty writer and licensed stylist, I receive a lot of product samples. I am inundated daily with requests to write about products, but now, due to the overwhelming demand, I simply cannot write about something that I haven’t sampled, clothes included, for the integrity of my columns. When I receive a product, I am honest, but won’t annihilate if I truly don’t like it, I will list pros and cons in what I hope is a decent manner. However, if I pay for a product, and spend a lot of money, you know it’s on if I don’t like it, as was the case with Alterna CC Cream, which was one of my highest beauty read review.
Summer has arrived in all its glory, and with the warm season on Long Island comes humidity. We need frizz control! The styling tools listed today came from a purchase at the International Beauty Expo. I was out of Rejuvenol Keratin treatment, and in my haste didn’t see them at IBSNY. After I purchased the Keratin Treatment from La-Brasiliana I saw Rejuvenol listed, but as the price was comparable, I thought I’d try a new brand. I purchased the Spruzzi show special spray-in Keratin treatment that can get washed after 24 hours. When I used it on clients, it was simple, saved time and the results were great. However, dealing with the company was not so wonderful.
I bought the product at the hair show and paid by check. When I told the salesperson I didn’t see Rejuvenol she didn’t say they were around the corner. But, she wants to make a sale, so OK. They took my check and said they’d ship once the check cleared and up-charged $15 because I didn’t pay cash and it would have to be delivered from Astoria to Long Island, a 20-minute drive. Again, OK, I needed the product and it seemed like a great deal, until after my check cleared it took one month for me to receive. After umpteen calls, where they couldn’t find my receipt number, I finally received the product to control frizz.
The package came with all of the after care and styling tools for frizz control. I used the Dieci All-in-One Instant Treatment, without sodium, on a girl with very curly hair that wanted it straight for a formal event on a very humid day. I needed frizz control and it did its job, very well. However, when I decided to write this up, I noticed there are no ingredients listed on the bottle or the website. For those conscious of what goes on your body and in your hair, this is not the product for you. The La-Brasiliana website states the Dieci All-in-One Instant Treatment is “temporary solution for frizz and uncontrollable hair, and works in10 ways to protects color, decrease hair breakage, seal split ends, enhances shine, body and eliminates frizz, nourishes damaged hair, promotes silkiness and protects against heat. Used in conjunction with Tre Define and Shine Serum, which smells amazing, and the result is hair with optimal shine and frizz control.

Do I recommend the frizz control hair care from La-Brasiliana? Yes, I would give the brand another chance at customer service, but they do need to list the ingredients and work on people skills. Happy Styling!
