Abigail Breslin, the 17-year-old actress best known for her work in “Little Miss Sunshine” and “The Call” is making headlines today; not for her skill, but for her lighter locks. The light blonde bombshell told E! News she is now unrecognizable.

Abigail Breslin told E! she is utterly bewildered people do not recognize her and credits her new ultra blonde hair. However, “Little Miss Sunshine” has been gradually lightening her locks for years. This is not an overnight dramatic color change from brunette to blonde.

In my opinion, people are not second-guessing whom Abigail Breslin because of the color of her hair, but because the ultra blonde hair color makes her look more mature. Add to that the young girl who stole our hearts on the silver screen has become a young lady, and the actress is now difficult to recognize.
When E! News caught up with Abigail Breslin on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of her latest flick, “August: Osage County”, she told Mark Malkin the cast and a few strangers did not recognize her. Hard to believe since she still has an adorable face.
