Writing this post informing readers how selling a cosmetology license in NY State is wrong, and it hurts me to my very professional core. I couldn’t sit back and not publicly comment about a recent inquiry from a former student who became an employee. I need to relay to anyone who sees this that selling a cosmetology license in New York is fraud, illegal, morally corrupt, and a slap in the face for us hardworking, licensed cosmetologists who took our exams, and for those of us who educate others.
