Bb Glow Product Review: Why Bumble and Bumble’s Glow is Friday’s Favorite Haircare

TGIF gorgeous! It’s been a minute since I’ve not only written a post for Ask the Pro Stylist, but also a Friday’s Favorite. Seems 2020 has gotten the best of all of us. But, back to business and this week’s Bb Glow product review, which is my go-to haircare.

Quarantine Hair

Did you experience quarantine hair? I did. My hair was dull and dry and I shed more than usual. Even though I am a stylist and know how to care for it, this was a phenomenon happening to many.

Moving from indoor heat to indoor air-conditioning, with little fresh air, didn’t help hair hydration. Additionally, stress of literally everything hurts hair growth as does poor nutrition. And, if we are being honest, most of us ate and drank way too much in the beginning of the pandemic.

However, back to work saw a return to healthy hair and a loss of unnecessary weight. Thankfully in part to this Friday’s favorite.

What’s My Favorite Hair Products?

Someone recently asked what my favorite hair care products are. Honestly, whatever is free or the gratis of the week. Hence this Friday’s Bb Glow product review. Upon returning to the salon, our featured hair care was Bumble and Bumble. Not only did I love it on guests, but also on myself. Fortunately, I also received some as gratis!

Bb Glow THERMAL PROTECTION MIST

Bumble and Bumble’s Bb Glow THERMAL PROTECTION MIST with Honey Protective Complex protects against heat and repairs damage for a healthy glow. While I do not use a lot of heat on myself, I use this to prime my hair sans shampooing. In addition, the brand touts it tames frizz, conditions and prevents breakage. As a result, my blowouts last for days with shine, bounce and no frizz!

Bb Glow BOND-BUILDING STYLER

The Bb Glow BOND-BUILDING STYLER is part two of my styling prep. Literally, I only use these products when blow drying my own hair. Bb claims it polishes and builds bonds for a healthy glow. Good bye quarantine hair. This multitasking hair styler smoothes, holds without stiffness, protects and fortifies against damage. Additionally, I find it also speeds up drying time. As a result, my hair has never looked better.
