Tammy Mixon, using CHI Haircare, led the style team when Sherri Hill debuted her SS17 Collection at Gotham Hall. According to Tammy Mixon, “This collection, Vintage Textured Hair, took inspiration from Sherri’s recent trip to Italy.”

For Sherri Hill’s SS17 Collection, Natasha Bure made the news walking the NYFW runway while parents were in attendance. To achieve the signature hair, follow the steps below in the wavy hairstyle tutorial.

  1. Starting in the front, take a 2″ vertical section.
  2. Next, lightly mist with CHI 44 Iron Guard Style and Stay Hairspray.
  3. In addition, twist while wrapping the hair away from the face using the 1 -1/4”-barrel DURA CHI Curling Iron, leaving 2 inches of the ends out.
  4. Continue to take another 2″ vertical section and repeat step one. However, wrap in a forward direction this time.
  5. Repeat, alternating the direction of the curls around the head. Be sure you end up with both of the front sections going away from face.
  6. Complete the look with brushing through using a CHI Paddle Brush.
  7. Finish the look by lightly misting the hair with CHI Shine Infusion Hair Shine Spray.
