Whoop, whoop, it’s Hump Day and time for another Q&A with Ask the Pro Stylist. Rather than answer a specific reader’s question, this Wednesday’s query is a compilation of many requests for stunning braids, which have been received from future professionals and guests alike: “How do you do this braid?’
Celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist Monae Everett recently wrote a book on the topic entitled, Stunning Braids. She was invited to speak and demonstrate as a guest artist at Cactus Academy Paul Mitchell Partner School, where I am a learning leader. Monae delighted and inspired the future professionals with a tutorial and demonstration for her “Princess Braid.”
I plan on doing a full write-up for Ms. Everett’s Stunning Braids book for Examiner.com in the near future, but wanted to let reader’s know this is a great guide for holiday hairstyles, as well as an ideal gift for professionals, budding professionals, or braid aficionados.
