A J.Law-obsessed woman from Texas spent thousands of dollars on plastic surgery to look like Jennifer Lawrence. Crazy? You be the judge!
ABC News originally reported the story of the 30-year-old mother who endured six hours of plastic surgery, which cost $25,000 to look like Jennifer Lawrence (minus the discount for the doctor to appear on television). Kitty, a dog trainer with a 5-year-old daughter, endured liposuction of the face and body, a breast augmentation, a nose job, and fat grafts to her cheeks and derriere to emulate J. Law.
Although Kitty has often heard that she resembles Lawrence, especially as the Academy Award winner has gained in popularity, the woman still doesn’t look like the 23-year-old actress despite the plastic surgery and weeks of recovery.
The more I’ve looked at her, the more I’ve realized that her features are sort of my features but more refined. The reason why I decided to get surgery is because post having my daughter; I wasn’t quite as comfortable with my body. I don’t think you have to be crazy to want to look better or feel better about yourself. That’s not crazy.
Um, no it isn’t crazy to want to better one’s appearance, but it kind of is to have yourself altered to look like someone else! Many women want to change something; have Angelina Jolie’s lips, Jennifer Aniston’s nose and Sofia Vergara’s breasts. Even Marilyn Monroe endured plastic surgery to perfect her already perfect looks. So, why would a doctor agree to such a bizarre request?

Patients come in wanting to have lips like Angelina Jolie, breasts like Scarlett Johansson and Megan Fox. By this point in my career, after evaluating 14-15,000 new consultations, you can tell very quickly within a matter of a minute if the patient is well adjusted or not well adjusted for whatever the procedure they might present.
