Color Enhancing Conditioner is a Must to Preserve Hair Color

My favorite color enhancing conditioner is a must to preserve your salon service. Find out which brand is top pick for this Friday’s beauty review of the week with Ask the Pro Stylist.

TGIF beautiful! Because it is Friday, it is time for another of Ask the Pro Stylist’s favorite beauty product of the week. This Friday I brag about the new CHI Ionic Color Illuminate Color Enhancing Conditioner.

I use the Platinum Blonde Color Enhancing Conditioner. It deposits cool, platinum tones. In addition, it neutralizes brassiness in light blondes. Use on natural hair color and color treated hair to achieve cool blonde tones within levels 7-10.

The reason I chose the platinum blonde is because I prefer a cooler tone. My hair at a level 7 pulls warm. Using the color enhancing conditioner keeps my color looking fresh until I am ready to touch up my regrowth.

Farouk Systems’ new line is available in 6 vibrant shades as well. These replenishing agents help to maintain salon-fresh color in In between salon services. Additionally, color dyes and tones are directly deposited to strands in one simple conditioning step.

For a dose of pigment first shampoo hair, rinse, and towel dry. Then, apply CHI Ionic Color Illuminate color enhancing conditioner to the hair and distribute evenly. Finally, leave in for 1-5 minutes and then rinse.

To intensify tones and lasting results, leave in for 5 minutes with low heat and cool down for 10 to 20 minutes at room temperature. The color enhancing conditioners come in Dark Chocolate, Coffee Bean, Red Auburn, Mahogany Red, Golden Blonde and Platinum.
